Celebration of Learning! (1 Week away)
We are officially one week away from our Celebration of Learning 2025. This special evening will transform our school into a living museum of student creativity, imagination, and expression. Our theme this year is Night at the Museum: Who Creates Better Than Us?, and our hallways will become galleries showcasing student thinking, art, music, and performance inspired by How We Express Ourselves. Join us on Friday, November 14, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Le Monde International School as we celebrate the brilliance of our students and their journey as creators.

Inside the Classroom (Friends from Colombia)
Our fifth graders recently had the wonderful opportunity to take part in a cross-cultural exchange with students from a school in Colombia. During this virtual meeting, both groups shared their language learning experiences and asked thoughtful questions about one another’s cultures and school life. The exchange helped students see how language can connect people and promote understanding across the world.
This experience aligns with the IB philosophy and our goal of nurturing globally minded learners. Students demonstrated open-mindedness, curiosity, and empathy, key traits of global citizenship.
A warm thank-you to Ms. Fierro, Ms. Mariel, and Ms. Silvia for their enthusiasm, care, and teamwork in bringing this experience to life. Their effort made it a memorable and inspiring connection for our students!
Home Connection! (Reflection)
Reflection helps children understand themselves and grow as thoughtful, self-aware individuals. Everyday experiences like family routines, chores, or shared activities offer natural opportunities to think about what happened and how they responded. Questions such as
What was something that made you happy or curious today?
How did you handle a challenge or disagreement?
What is something you are proud of or grateful for?
Encourage children to talk, draw, or share their thoughts. Making reflection a part of daily life helps them develop awareness, empathy, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Blessings,
Nino Perez
