Le Monde International School Positions for the 2025-2026 School Year:

 

KINDERGARTEN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR (Norman, OK), This position is focused on the dsgn, dvlpmnt, & support of the Spanish language program, & does not involve direct teaching of students. The core function of this role is to ensure the quality & effectiveness of the Spanish language curriculum & to support its successful implementation by teachers. Duties incl: Create & implement a comprehensive Spanish language curriculum covering language learning. Offer guidance & professional development to elementary teachers on effective Spanish language teaching strategies. Analyze student data to identify trends & inform instruction. Create & administer in-class & homework assessments to measure student progress in the Spanish language. Foster in-house practicing language. Work w/special education staff to support students w/language difficulties. Research & integrate educational tech tools into Spanish language instruction. Maintain open communication w/parents & guardians. Participate in school initiatives & committees reltd to instruction & curriculum development. Spec Skills: fluent in Spanish, advanced proficiency in English. A Bach's deg in Early Childhood Education, education, pedagogy, child development, or other relev field of study or any suitable combo of education, training, exp & other skills are acceptable + 1 yr of basic teacher training or on the job training. Special Reqmnts: Deep understanding of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, & pronunciation is essential for creating an immersive Spanish language environment. Knowledge of child development, learning theories, & best practices in early childhood education. Ability to develop & implement a comprehensive Spanish language curriculum that aligns w/state standards & meets school manuals. Innovative creation of strategies to foster language acquisition, critical thinking, & student engagement in-class & in homework assessments. Ability to foster in-house language practice among students. Ability to analyze student data to identify trends & inform instruction. Team work w/special education staff to support students w/language difficulties. Strong communication skills to maintain open communication w/parents & guardians. Ability to participate in school initiatives & committees reltd to instruction & curriculum development.
